I am a serious fan of all things pumpkin. My mom did it to us kids growing up. Come the fall, I can’t think of enough things to make with pumpkin and it’s the number one smell of the season for me.
As I mentioned to you last week, protein shakes are going to be a thing for me right now while I get back to my Lap-Band basics.
After seeing another recipe, similar to this one, on Pinterest I knew I had to put my own twist on this. It was my first time attempting a pumpkin protein shake and it certainly will not be my last. This was incredibly delicious and as a Lap-Band patient, very filling.
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
¼ Cup Pure Pumpkin Purée
2 TBSP Vanilla Chai Drink Powder (I use Pacific Chai)
Dash of Pumpkin Pie Spice
10 Ice Cubes
Blend well and enjoy. Makes 1 serving.
