Ju-Ju-Be Be Pepared Diaper Bag

I received the Ju-Ju-Be Be Prepared bag to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Ju-Ju-Be

I love bags. I mean, I really love a great bag. More than I can possibly tell you. I’m the girl with a purse collection and regularly rotate between them. Most of those bags also have a matching wallet. So you can imagine my disappointment that with babies, I can’t carry one of my many purses. Sure, there’s cute diaper bags around, but the standard diaper bags at big box stores aren’t super cute or trendy. Never mind everything else they’re not.

It was a little more than a year ago when I was introduced to Ju-Ju-Be bags. I quickly fell in love with them, for so many reasons, all of which I’m sure you know I’ll cover. But, to start with, they’re cute and trendy.

There are so many things I could have never imagined with having twins. During pregnancy I did so much reading, buying, learning, understanding. I needed to get a good grip on what to expect. But, I could have never imagined all the stuff I would have to carry for two babies. And, in each stage, the amount of things I need for them changes.

In my best effort, I try to pack light and take the essentials. But, sometimes, the essentials are things I could have never imagined would become so important so quickly. My current diaper bag is the Ju-Ju-Be BFF. In the months we have had it, it changes the way I think about taking things we take along with us. I’m able to grab all their needs, all the fun things they want, and a few extras along the way.

Yet, as it always happens, life is changing for us. We’re preparing our move back to California. Life is going to get really busy for us. I’m planning small day and weekend trips for the family. I know we’ll be spending a lot of days running around, meeting up with friends, and playing. You know what all this means? More stuff. And not just for my twins. All day outings means that my oldest, Zadey, wants to bring items as well. This means we end up with a car loaded down with bags.

I end up taking a purse, because the diaper bag is full and I need extras to be gone all day. Then there’s the fully loaded diaper bag. Zadey will bring her backpack and of course, there’s the ever important camera bag too.

It all becomes too much. It’s for all of these reasons that I wanted to get a larger bag. It had to be a Ju-Ju-Be bag, because I was not going to compromise. And, it had to be the Be Prepared because I’ve been eyeballing it and wanting it since I decided to get the BFF.

And, here’s the thing, I could have easily and comfortably added a great deal of more items. For example, when actually leaving the house, I would add:

  • A Couple of Small Toys
  • A Small Lunch for Each Kid
  • 2 Sippy Cups
  • Light Jackets
  • Extra Clothes for Zadey
  • Toys/Electronics/Activities for Zadey
  • Snacks and Drinks for Zadey

My bag was very loosely packed. This only makes me more excited to have my bag. Between an up coming cross-country move and preparing for long days when we arrive in California, the Be Prepared is going to be exactly the type of bag we need to make it through our days.

That is such an awesome diaper bag! I am really impressed with how much it actually holds! Love it! I would totally use it for myself, more than just a diaper bag. But if we had any more kids it would totally be my favorite diaper bag too!
Right now, I still semi use my regular purse as a diaper bag for my daughter; so I would totally have this bag take over for her and any future kids we might have.

That’s an adorable bag! When I had my kids, there weren’t nearly the number of choices as there are now. We actually used a college backpack as a diaper bag because I didn’t like the other choices!

I love Ju Ju Be products! I don’t have their diaper bag, but if we have another baby, I definitely want to pick up one of their bags for my husband. (We have two bags – and his fell apart within a few months.)

I will have four kids shortly, once my new baby is born, and I need a diaper bag for three of them. I’ve been craving one of these for forever!

This would mostly be for my 6 month old and 2 year old. I would probably throw in some spare clothes and snacks for my 4 year old as well :)
