Wordless Wednesday: Gateway Arch

Wordless Wednesday with Linky

On our move to California from Indiana, I knew that I had to see the Gateway Arch. We didn’t have the opportunity to see it on our move to Indiana so if we didn’t stop on the way home, I knew I would be sorry.

We didn’t have the chance to park and get out of the car, but we did jump off the freeway and circle around it. And we saw it from many angles. I had so many great pictures of it, I had a hard time choosing which I would show off today.

Have you had the opportunity to see the Gateway Arch?

If you have posted your own Wordless Wednesday, feel free to link up with me below.

I haven’t seen it, but I’d like to. I’ve hard like Robin said, that you can go inside. I think that would be cool. :) I like your pics!

I saw it when I was in college, but it was the same as you, a quick drive by while passing through. I’d love to actually visit St. Louis someday.

I’ve taken the elevator to the top. It’s an interesting ride. Once you get to the top, you can photograph the city. Great fun. Nice set of images.

My boys went here w their HS.. FFA and they are scared of heights but I think that one was pressured to go up while the other stayed… They got over their fear once they joined the Navy.

I haven’t been to St. Louis in years. I’ve always wanted to go into the Arch, I think you can walk up into it, or at least you used to be able to. It’s an impressive structure, so beautiful!

I’ve seen a documentary about the Gateway Arch. They say that it’s a structure originally built to ward off storms. They even showed evidence that it can really deter storms. You can actually go up and down that arch. :)

You should totally go! We were living just outside of Indianapolis when we moved back to California. Seeing the Gateway Arch was high on my list. You’d have a blast.
