Zadey is a flip flop girl. Growing up in Las Vegas and California, she’s a girl used to warm weather.
When we went school shopping for Zadey, for the first time her Kindergarten year, I still remember her moans of complaint about having to put on a pair of tennis shoes.
It’s been two years now, and she’s getting used to wearing shoes. But she prefers them streamlined, lightweight, and easy on and off. She’s also figured out that wearing tennis shoes gives her “super speed” when running. This has been a huge encouragement to throwing on the tennis shoes and lacing up for school and any outdoor play.
We recently discovered Enzo Kids Francine Shoes which couldn’t be more perfect for Zadey.

My favorite feature is that they do not need to be tied. Slip on, and ready to go. This is a huge plus for our morning routine.
And if your girl has a narrow ankle, like Zadey does, you’ll appreciate the elastic on the back of the shoe that provides a perfect comfortable fit around the ankle — no slipping!
Zadey’s favorite feature is the color. That metallic lining speaks to her inner fashionista who claims one of her favorite colors is silver. Whatever works to make her love the shoe, seriously!
